Prairie Diagnostic Services Inc. provides diagnostic testing for a large number of animal health and disease related conditions. From blood testing and bacterial analysis to whole animal necropsies we offer a wide range of companion and food animal laboratory services.

Our laboratories provide service for clinical pathology, bacteriology, virology, immunology, endocrinology, parasitology, toxicology, histology, PCR and necropsy samples. Please note: all diagnostic samples with the exception of whole animals must be submitted through a veterinarian who is responsible for the clinical interpretation and application of the diagnostic test results performed at PDS.

Owners submitting whole animals for necropsy must identify a veterinarian to whom a copy of the report may be sent to for interpretation. Owners without a current veterinarian can use the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association (SVMA website) to find a local practitioner. Out of province owners are encouraged to check their provincial veterinary medical association website if they do not presently have a veterinarian.
